If you are finding it difficult to get over persistent fungal infections of the skin, don’t fret! This is a super simple recipe that works wonderfully on candida overgrowth on your skin, including the skin on your face, arms and legs.
This super simple DIY skin mask is quick, simple and contains few potent ingredients. The only thing that you need to be cautious about with such powerful ingredients is using them cautiously. More is not always better. I’ll explain this.
This DIY skin mask has three main ingredients with anti-microbial properties. If you have a dog who struggles with skin infections, this is wonderful as well! I’ve found skin care on dogs not quite upto the mark. When my Labrador struggled with chronic fungal infections, he never responded to being pumped with antibiotics or anti fungals. This worked great instead!
When it comes to skin care, especially with candida or fungal, the most important thing to remember is that you also need to work on the terrain of your body. If you take antibiotics very frequently, then localised skin applications such as this DIY skin mask may not be as effective. You also need to rebuild your microbiome.
Herbal antimicrobials are potent. It’s important that you use them in the right proportions. We use the ratios in this DIY skin mask in a way as to keep the more potent ingredients subtle. This allows the skin to not become further inflamed or agitated if it already is. The calming ingredients are the bulk of the recipe, which allows for soothing.
Help your skin health and fight candida with the best DIY skin mask:
Remember that nothing works as wonderfully for the skin, as simply eliminating sugar in your diet. I’ve seen people with candida all over their body. It will appear as itchy white patches everywhere. You might have had experience with it. Most anti fungals like candid creams simply work for some time and then it comes back.
This DIY skin mask contains aloe and coconut oil for bulk, and to soothe and calm your skin. It also contains rose petals, turmeric root and neem powder for their potent antimicrobial properties. I call the neem in this recipe double trouble. It has both neem powder as well as neem essential oil.
DIY skin masks are loaded with great ingredients. What matters is the ratio of ingredients, the methodology of use and wash and frequency of application until eradication. You know how frustrating fungal infections can be! This is the reason that I advice you to use this every alternate day for a few weeks and then start tapering off, if you have candida all over your body.
For an extra special DIY skin mask, you can also use some fresh rose petals and some rose essential oil. It will also be a great aroma while you apply it, and help you feel calmer and less agitated!

Let’s breakdown the ingredients of this DIY skin mask recipe before going into it:
Aloe Vera– The best thing about aloe vera is that it is anti-inflammatory and contains Vitamin A. It is greatly soothing, and feeds your skin microbiome. When you apply it to your skin, you encourage beneficial bacteria growth on the surface of your skin. This helps to rebuild the skin microbiome. Dysbiosis is a great reason for overgrowth of fungals such as candida. Aloe supports slow recovery from this. Remember that this DIY skin mask has aloe also to soothe.
Neem–This DIY skin mask contains neem powder and neem oil. Neem is an antimicrobial. It has been used from ancient times for these properties. Neem relieves itching, inflammation and dryness of the skin. Neem essential oil contains the necessary fatty acids to promote skin recovery and encourage skin healing.
Rose Petals–Rose petals are very soothing. They are also anti microbial. Natural oils found in rose petals help the skin to regain moisture. They are a rich source of vitamin C, which helps the skin to build collagen. Collagen is the building block of healthy skin structure. Rose petals and rose oils ahve immense benefits for your skin!
