Gorgeous Cauliflower Curry For Liver Detox

This gorgeous cauliflower curry contains three powerful liver detox ingredients along with a load of fresh spices. It is super simple to make and is wonderfully flavouful!

  • Heavy bottomed pan
  • Stove


  • 1 organic Cauliflower
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ghee or Sesame Oil Little more if required
  • 1 Green Chilly
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly Powder Reduce if you want it mild spice
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Curry Powder
  • 2 Ripe Red Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
  • Salt


  • Chop the cauliflower into medium sized florets and set aside. Chop the onions fine and set aside. Blanch the tomatoes in hot water, peel and paste. Set aside.
  • In a hot pan, add the ghee or oil. Saute the onions lightly and add the cauliflower. Cover and cook on low heat for ten minutes. Check that the cualiflower is lightly browned. Remove into a bowl and set aside.
  • Wash the pan. Add a little more ghee or oil. Keep the heat high. Add the tomato paste and let is bubble for a few minutes. Add all the spices and saute for one minute until the oil gently seeps out. Keep the heat high. Add back the cauliflower and onions and toss on high heat until lightly brown. Add the fresh coriander leaves and salt and serve hot.


Optional add ons are some tofu, boiled green peas, red carrots and sweet potatoes
